Each Friday we will have designers choice, seasonal hand tied bouquets at Hazel James Home in Winnetka and Double Clutch Brewery in Evanston. Lanie Coldwell of the Shy Flower will lead the floral arranging while Kristin Svets of Kristin Svets Coaching leads us through a meditative practice. You will leave with a clear, calm head and a beautiful arrangement to enjoy as you continue to practice the meditative skills learned.

Hydrating Your Own Cut Flowers 

Class location: Shy Flower Studio in Hubbard Woods; 1046 Gage Street Unit C Winnetka, IL

$125 per person; includes light nibbles and cocktails. Students will learn professional tips to hydrating their own flowers from their yard as we design a lush arrangement using the floral we are discussing. Popular floral includes hydrangea, roses, ranunculus and many others.

Ikebanaish 

Class location: Shy Flower Studio in Hubbard Woods; 1046 Gage Street Unit C Winnetka, IL

$95 per person; includes light nibbles and cocktails. Students will learn the proportion and style of Ikebana, Japanese flower arranging, and apply this principle to traditional floral design to create smaller pieces that can stand alone or dance down a table to create a fabulous tables cape. Guests will leave with a beautiful arrangement valued over $95,  a recipe card, and professional tips to find success at home!

September 11, 2025 6 – 8PM

These potted succulents, tropical plants and orchids are designed to impress. These uniquely curated plants can range from the grand entrance piece that makes a statement to a simple gift to bring some joy to a friend or a hostess. These plants are perfect to stage a home or elevate the place you call home. Clients’ pots and vessels are welcome or we can help find the perfect piece to hold your indoor garden.
